Prophet Elijah BC was born on 10th April, the second-born in a family of five and uniquely distinguished as the only son. From an early age, his life bore unmistakable signs of a divine calling and a spiritual sensitivity that would later define his ministry and leadership journey.

His preaching ministry began remarkably early. At just sixteen years old, while still in secondary school, the fire of God was already evident in his life. Known among his peers as a prayer coal and a flame, his passion for God, prayer and the Word set him apart. The call was not casual — it was intense, undeniable and demanding.

At a tender age, he gained admission into the University of Zambia, where he pursued his undergraduate studies while being privileged to serve as a full-time pastor. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies and a minor in Sociology. Demonstrating a commitment to lifelong learning, he later re-enrolled for a Master’s Degree, which he continues to pursue while pastoring extensively and remaining actively engaged in ministry.

He faithfully served as a branch pastor for over seven years — a season he often recalls with deep gratitude to God. This period became a school of character, humility and preparation. He frequently affirms that “the greatness of a man is hidden in one’s willingness to serve,” a conviction that became his personal yardstick for leadership formation and readiness.

Following a God-aligned transition, Prophet Elijah BC stepped into a new phase of obedience by pioneering a fresh work — what would later become Spirit Life Church International. In recent years, his ministry has experienced remarkable growth and recognition within the city and the nation at large, marking him as a young, vibrant and spiritually potent preacher of this generation.

His ministry is marked by unusual boldness and faith. He has shut down halls, dared to walk where few have gone and embraced assignments considered rare and humanly impossible. In many of his meetings, thousands have gathered, yet what consistently defines these moments is not spectacle but a deep, collective hunger for God — a hunger that continues to increase.

He carries a deep and unwavering passion for youths and students, frequently ministering in universities across Zambia through revival programmes. In these gatherings, many have tangibly encountered the presence of God, resulting in visible transformation, renewed spiritual hunger and restored purpose.

Beyond revival meetings, he actively conducts seminars and teachings on love, dating and marriage, equipping individuals and families with biblical wisdom for healthy relationships. Out of these experiences and encounters came his best-selling book, I Think They Lied to Me, which addresses love, dating and marriage with boldness, clarity and practical insight, guiding readers toward God-centred relationships.

In his continued engagement with leaders, pastors and ministry structures, Prophet Elijah BC was further compelled to address the hidden dynamics of leadership, betrayal and spiritual responsibility. This burden gave rise to his leadership-focused works, When Judas Is Your Mentor and When Satan Is Your Church Member — books that speak candidly to leaders, challenging them to discernment, maturity and integrity in service.

A living testament to the race of grace, his influence continues to extend beyond national borders. He ministers as an itinerant preacher, proclaiming the Gospel across Africa and beyond, carrying a message of revival, order and divine alignment to nations. His life and ministry stand as enduring proof that obedience, service and unwavering devotion to God remain the true pathways to lasting impact.
